Meet Alexis, (Yes, that’s her real name) …an actual shelter animal from an Atlanta rescue. This adorable soul inspired watercolor portraits by Melissa, in hopes of raising awareness for the struggles homeless, abandoned and abused animals endure.

This sweet, furry face was painted with love from her shelter “mug shot” photo. Printed on acid free pro luster photo paper.
