Nature has gifted me with so many memorable moments and this one will be forever etched in my memory. Mama raccoon came through my back property with her three babies in tow. I heard the littles making chittering noises as they hurried to keep up. All of a sudden, something startled the babies, causing them to scramble up the nearest tree. They climbed over, around and under each other waiting for mama to give the “all safe” signal. This painting is inspired by one of those raccoon babies as she kept an eye on mama.
